crest-1000The nationally prominent education publication, Schools Week, has been officially confirmed as the media partners at this year’s SCHOOLS NorthEast Summit.

Schools Week representatives will be joining us for the day to report on the region’s biggest gathering of Head Teachers.

As previously announced, school leaders from across the North East will be hearing from the Secretary of State for Education, the Rt.Hon. Justine Greening, as well as:

Sir Nick Carter – National Schools Commissioner
Roger Pope – Chair of the National College for Teaching & Leadership
Sally Collier – Chief Regulator of Ofqual
Dr Rebecca Allen – Director of Education DataLab
Masha Gordon – Founder of GRIT & ROCK
Sir Nick Weller – CEO & Executive Principal, Dixons Academies Trust
Prof. Robert Coe – Director of the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM)

SCHOOLS NorthEast Director Mike Parker said: “We are delighted to partner up with Schools Week for our biggest annual event. The Summit is the region’s most important gathering of Head Teachers, school leaders and educationalists and is bound to be a talking point with so many education heavyweights joining us on the day.”

The Summit is SCHOOLS NorthEast’s largest and longest-standing conference, now in its 8th year.

This year, we will be focusing on resilience, with break-out sessions on exam reforms and performance, accountability, the teaching profession and education in the Northern Powerhouse.

The event is sold out, but we have created additional afternoon places to enable more schools to attend. Please contact info@schoolsnortheast.com to book or for more information.
