Kieran McLaughlin
Mr Kieran McLaughlin joined Durham School in September 2014 as Headmaster. He was born and raised in Liverpool studying at St Edward’s College, a selective boys’ School in Liverpool. He read Natural Sciences at Jesus College, Cambridge, specialising in Physics and Theoretical Physics. He has taught in City of London Girls’ School, Sevenoaks School and before Durham, Deputy Head at Rugby School. He has been involved in a number of national curriculum initiatives, as well as delivering INSET on behalf of HMC and the National College of School Leadership. His interests outside School are the arts, travel and his family.
