Park View School Celebrates Outstanding A Level Results

Park View School is thrilled to announce the exceptional A Level and Level 3 results achieved by their Year 13 students this year. Amazing news for this Chester le Street school!

Once again, another large Year 13 cohort, boosted by the continued growth and success of the Park View Academy of Sport, has delivered impressive performances across a wide range of subjects. They are delighted to say that attainment has risen, from an already strong starting point in 2023, in both A Level and Vocational subjects.

Head Teacher, Andrew Finley, expressed his pride in the students, stating, “Today has been a remarkable day for so many of our students, and it has been a privilege to witness their success.

“The dedication and hard work of both students and staff over the past two years have truly paid off, and we are delighted to see so many of our young people leaving us with excellent results and positive experiences.”

A bright future awaits bright students

This year’s results pave the way for many students to continue their education at some of
the world’s top universities, embark on school leaver programs, or begin promising careers
in earnest.

Miss Keighley, Head of Sixth Form, highlighted the significance of these achievements, saying, “These students have shown how good they are. Many have shown incredible resilience in the face of adversity, and their results are a testament to their determination and character. We could not be more proud of their achievements”.

Beyond their academic success, Park View’s Year 13 students have contributed significantly
to the school community, participating in a wide range of extracurricular activities. From foreign expeditions and record-breaking sports achievements to acclaimed performances in
the creative and performing arts, these students have demonstrated their versatility and
commitment.

“Park View’s Year 13 students have truly embodied the spirit of our school,” added Mr. Finley. “They have supported each other, challenged themselves, and shown immense kindness and resilience. We will miss them as they move on to new adventures, but we are confident that they have bright futures ahead of them.”

As the students prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives, all at Park View extend their best wishes for their continued success and happiness — as does the team at Schools North East! We look forward to seeing where life takes the students next.
