North East MEPs seek schools’ views on regional Brexit plan

Jude Kirton-Darling and Paul Brannen, the North East’s Labour MEPs, are launching a consultation to understand what the region needs from an exit negotiation from the EU.

This consultation begins with an open survey and will be followed by a series of meetings with different interest groups.

One of the key groups that the MEPs would like to involve is schools, so if you would like to make your voice heard on how leaving the EU will affect your school and what you think the region’s priorities should be going into negotiations, you can complete the survey by visiting www.northeastlabour.eu/plan, where you can also read more about the Plan.

This Plan for the North East will then be presented to negotiators in Brussels, Westminster and Whitehall.
