Excellent results for Sacred Heart Catholic High School students

Sacred Heart Catholic High School pupils and staff celebrated the achievements of those collecting their GCSE results.

As GCSEs return to the pre-pandemic standards of 2019 we can report, contrary to the national trend, our attainment 8 score (the National benchmark) has risen, with the proportion of students achieving the highest grades of 7, 8 and 9 also rising to 1 in 3 students here at Sacred Heart.

Threshold passes in English and Maths have both risen by 10% at the strong pass and 5% at standard pass. Congratulations to all and we look forward to welcoming many of our girls back to Sacred Heart Sixth Form in September.

Louisa Connolly, Acting Deputy Head Teacher of the school said:

“We are so proud of our GCSE students who have achieved an amazing set of results this summer. All their hard work has paid off and we couldn’t be happier for them.”
