First Results Day brings plenty to celebrate at Forest Park School

“Today marks the first results day for Forest Park School and what a day it has been.

All of our Y11 students joined us at the start of Y10 and all of them had been out of education for
between one and three years. It was always going to be a challenge to build trusting relationships,
improve attendance and engagement and fill so many gaps in knowledge in such a short space of
time but… anyone who knows our School, will know we like a challenge!

We are pleased to report a 100% pass rate of grade 4 and above for all students that sat GCSE exams in English, Maths and History.

We are very proud to share that every student has left us with qualifications in our core English,
Maths, Science Food , PSHCE ,Employability, IT as well as individual Level 2 successes in Art , Textiles
and Sport.

Every Y11 student has a secured a place at the setting of their choice to progress to post 16 and all
will be progressing to the next level of their education.

I would like to praise the dedication and hard work of our teaching and support staff, and wish all of
our leavers the very best as they start their new courses in September.”
