“One of our pupils had been absent from school all week. He finally came into school but was refusing to enter any lessons. I saw him walk past the classroom and I was using LifeTalk. We were discussing ‘upskirting’ and watching one of the videos. I called out to him to come in and join in the discussion, he could hear the video on and he started to enter the classroom. He was hearing the Life Lessons pupils talking about their opinions and then he started to share his own. It was brilliant to see how engaged he was and how much he wanted to get involved. He stayed in the classroom for the entire lesson, sharing his thoughts and opinions on the matter. I thought…‘wow, this really works!’.” – Assistant Head
