OpenGate Education North is developing alternative provision and outreach services for young people across the Tees Valley who need additional support to engage with education.
Working in partnership with schools, local authorities and families, we combine personalised learning with practical, vocational and outdoor activities to help young people build confidence, develop skills and reconnect with learning. Our offer includes support for emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA), community outreach and tailored pathways for pupils at risk of exclusion or struggling to access mainstream education.
We aim to be a trusted partner to schools, supporting reintegration where appropriate and helping young people take positive next steps in education, training and employment.
