Paul Martindale
Paul obtained a PGCE in 2000 at the University of Newcastle. He worked in two schools before becoming Deputy Headteacher at Jesmond Road in Hartlepool. The school was rebuilt under the Primary Capital Programme, and Paul led on the learning and teaching transformation of the school. The school earned multiple architecture awards, and became an Apple Distinguished School due to its innovative use of IT.
Paul joined WISE Academies in 2014 as headteacher at Bexhill Academy in Sunderland. He has performed a variety of leadership roles in the Trust, and is currently Regional Education Director and part of the Executive Team. Paul is also a practising lead inspector for Ofsted.
