Naomi Byrne
Naomi is a senior policy advisor at the DfE working in the Teacher Wellbeing, Workload and Impact on Schools Team where she is responsible for stakeholder engagement and developing the School Workload Reduction Toolkit. Prior to joining the team Naomi worked on the delivery of Oak National Academy as part of the department’s pandemic response. Before becoming a civil servant, Naomi was an English teacher with twenty years’ experience of working in inner city schools and colleges in both teaching and leadership roles.
