Katherine Humpleby
Katherine is from the North East of England and has lived and worked in the North East, Yorkshire and Humber region for over 20 years.
Following a Geography degree, Katherine worked as a Geography teacher and head of Geography in secondary schools. This was followed by senior leader positions across multi-academy trusts, including working for the central trust team, leading key aspects of primary and secondary school improvement. She has been a school development adviser for the Diocese of York and a Trustee for three multi-academy trusts. She is involved with teacher training and works as an inspector for Church of England schools.
Katherine is passionate about supporting schools to become carbon net-zero and sees young people are our future climate guardians. When not working with schools Katherine enjoys spending time in the awe-inspiring landscapes of northern England and beyond.
