Dr Darren McGee
Darren’s background is in developmental and social psychology, with a particular interest in emotions and how they develop. His role within the Wallsend Children’s Community is to use research to support the work they do locally, which often involves conducting surveys with young people and parents or interviews with local organisations and partners. Their ultimate aim is to change the system across Wallsend, so that it works better for children and improves their life chances.
