Wendy Ghazal
Wendy joined Schools North East in September 2024 as our Events Coordinator. She supports the planning and delivery of our extensive events programme, working closely with the Events Manager and Deputy Events Manager to deliver high-quality events for our members and stakeholders.
From coordinating logistics and supporting delegates to ensuring events run smoothly behind the scenes, she plays an important role in creating engaging experiences that bring the education community together.
Originally from Rome, Italy, Wendy holds a diploma in Modern Languages & Literature and speaks English, Spanish and basic Chinese, alongside her native Italian. It was during a school trip to Newcastle to improve her English that she first fell in love with the city, eventually choosing to make the North East her home.
