Teacher recruitment – how to grow your talent pool

ONE of the world’s foremost organisations in changing human behaviour is coming to the region to share insights with schools into how they can attract more candidates for teaching vacancies.

The Behavioural Insights team (BIT), which started life in Number 10 Downing Street, will headline a recruitment event for schools in the North East on Monday, February 8.

BIT, has extensive experience of working in education settings, including supporting the Somerset Schools Challenge to address specific issues around low numbers of candidates applying for teaching vacancies.

Its research discovered that small changes in recruiting techniques could have a significant impact on response rates.

BIT will share a platform with Head Teachers and School Business Managers at the event on February 8 to help North East schools improve their chances of finding the right candidates. For more information, please visit our website . To book your place, please contact info@schoolsnortheast.com .
