SNE and Vision for Education collaborate to provide vouchers for disadvantaged children

Schools North East has collaborated with Vision for Education this week in a raffle to provide vouchers to Schools North East Partner Schools across the region.  The winning schools were delighted to receive £250 worth of vouchers to support disadvantaged children and families throughout the North East.  After a phenomenal response, Vision for Education kindly extended the offer and in total 83 schools benefited.

Schools North East received some wonderful feedback from the schools who were awarded the e-vouchers, with one Newcastle Primary school saying “What a wonderful email to open! Thank you very much – they will be very helpful to some of our families” and a Sunderland school saying “We will certainly make sure they are put to extremely good use with our young people”, as another called it “A great early Christmas present to support our children.”

Schools North East are all too aware of the difficult year it has been, and continues to be, for many families across the region and we are incredibly grateful to Vision for Education for offering this support through our schools to children and families at this time of year.
