Schools wanted for DfE/BIS research project

The Behavioural Insights Team (BIT), a social purpose company and one of the world’s foremost organisations in changing human behaviour, is offering schools the opportunity to develop a deep and nuanced understanding of their students’ motivations, beliefs and aspirations for the future.

The BIT alongside the Department for BITBusiness, Innovation and Skills and the Department for Education are working to try and better understand how young people make decisions about their future.

To achieve this, they are looking to partner with a wide range of schools and higher/further education institutions through February.

If your school is interested in taking part, please have a look at the BIT information sheet. Alternatively, you can get in touch with James Watson on 07956 779874, or at james.watson@behaviouralinsights.co.uk .

The BIT will also come to the region to share insights with schools into how they can attract more candidates for teaching vacancies. They have extensive experience of working in education settings, including supporting the Somerset Schools Challenge to address specific issues around low numbers of candidates applying for teaching vacancies.

If you want to find out how your school can improve its chances of finding the right candidates, sign up for our free teacher recruitment event How to grow your talent pool. More information available here. Please contact info@schooolsnortheast.com
