Red House School Achieves Exceptional GCSE Results

Red House School in Norton is proud to celebrate another year of outstanding GCSE results, showcasing the hard work, determination, and talent of its pupils. This year, 96.7% of grades were 9–4 (equivalent to A*–C), placing Red House well above both local and national averages and highlighting a remarkable upward trend in top-level attainment.

Dr Rebecca Ashcroft, Head of Red House School, said:
‘I am absolutely thrilled and immensely proud to share that this year’s GCSE results are truly exceptional. Our pupils have surpassed expectations with their commitment, determination and talent, and they have been brilliantly supported by our outstanding staff. These results are not only a testament to the academic ability of our young people, but also to the unique culture of ambition, encouragement and care that defines Red House School.’
‘This summer, an astonishing 96.7% of pupils achieved grades 9–4 (equivalent to A*–C), with an unprecedented 45% securing the very highest grades of 9–8 (A*). Even more impressively, over two-thirds of all entries were awarded grades 9–7 (A*–A). These achievements place Red House well above both local and national averages and demonstrate a remarkable upward trend in top-level attainment.’
‘What makes this success so special is that it is not confined to one or two individuals; across the year group we have seen pupils striving for, and achieving, excellence. Whether it is record numbers at grades 9–8 or the strength of results at grades 9–7, this cohort has achieved something truly extraordinary.’

‘The academic strength of our pupils is also seen in subject highlights: a 100% grade 9 pass rate in German; 100% of pupils achieving grades 9–8 in Physics; and 100% securing grades 9–7 in Chemistry. These are remarkable outcomes and show the breadth as well as the depth of excellence across the curriculum.’
‘Above all, today is about celebrating the triumphs of our pupils; every grade, every achievement, and every moment of progress. Their hard work, resilience and ambition have paid off in the most spectacular fashion. We could not be prouder.’
‘Our warmest congratulations go to all our pupils and their families. We also extend our deepest thanks to our dedicated teachers and staff, whose commitment to inspirational teaching and individualised care has been instrumental in these successes.
