Record A-Level results for Haydon Bridge High School

Haydon Bridge High School are celebrating record A Level results. 

Students achieved an average of a grade B in academic qualifications with 25.6% of grades being A*-A, 55.8% of grades being A*-B and 79.1% of grades being A*-C.

The vocational results are equally impressive with students achieving an average grade of a Distinction.

Most importantly, all students applying to university have secured a place at their first choice university and will be studying a broad range of subjects including Engineering, Geography, Criminology and Sociology.

Headteacher Michael Smith said:

“We are very proud of all of the hard work of our students. They have applied themselves throughout their studies and showed the determination necessary to achieve these fantastic results despite national results returning to pre pandemic levels.”
