Overjoyed St Joseph’s Students Celebrate Highest Results for Four Years

St Joseph’s Catholic Academy, which is part of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust, is celebrating its highest results for the past four years. Over 75% of students attained A*-C grades, or their vocational equivalent.

There were some significant individual performances from students including exceptional performances in BTEC subjects which had a 100% pass rate and an average grade Distinction.

Charlie CL, who achieved four A grades in chemistry, computer science, physics and mathematics, will be studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Bristol.

Ethan B achieved three distinctions in applied science, business studies, and engineering. He will be studying marketing at Newcastle University. Jess D achieved an A grade in both psychology and biology with a B grade in chemistry. Jess is taking a gap year in employment then going on to study dentistry. .

Congratulations to Daniel M, not only for achieving excellent results, but also for securing a prestigious paralegal apprenticeship with global law firm Clifford Chance.

James Crowe, Headteacher, said: “We are immensely proud of our student body and their efforts. Each student has their own story, and this year has seen some excellent achievements.

The vast majority of students have been accepted at their chosen university, on to an apprenticeship or will take up roles in the workplace while others are pursing gap years. For those who are still making their mind up, the school continues to provide expert support and guidance until they are in successful in securing a position for their next steps. We wish each student every success in their onward journey.”
