New Build, Uniform and Ethos for Simonside Primary School

Simonside Primary School have built an impressive new site for their pupils which has opened for the new school term as well as introducing a new uniform and logo to reflect their ethos and growth.

Head Teacher Louise Thompson called the new building “a fabulous, spacious  learning environment in which our pupils and community can thrive” as well as saying “We feel very lucky!” The modern site boasts great looking classrooms which are bright and look to be a fantastic learning environment for the pupils attending. The plans for the school were approved in December 2019 with the building work starting in March 2020.

The school’s new ethos focuses around positivity and pride for the school, it states:

Simonside Primary School is a bright and welcoming school based in the outer west of Newcastle. Our team of hardworking and dedicated staff work to foster resilience in our amazing children, and enable them to approach life with a positive attitude.  This positivity is embedded in our well-used and consistently applied school vision –

‘Dream, believe and achieve’.”
