Hard Work Pays Off for Conyers Class of 2026

Students and staff at Conyers School are celebrating another strong set of A-level and BTEC results. 20% of A-level and technical grades were awarded at A/A, with 52% at A-B. The average technical grade was Distinction+. The results reflect two years of sustained effort from the students, supported throughout by the expertise and commitment of their teachers.

This year’s leavers are progressing to a wide range of university courses, apprenticeships and employment.
They have secured places in subjects including computing, languages, mathematics, engineering and law,
with several students set to continue their studies at some of the country’s leading universities.

Among the many achievements being celebrated are the results and destinations of:

1. Dylan Morgan (AAA), who will study Mathematics at York University.  Lucy Ollier (AAA), who will study Chemistry at Durham University.
2. Hanna Dabbous (AAA) who will study Chemistry at Durham University.
3. Libbie Wilson (AAA), who will study Geography at The University of Liverpool
4. Louise Harding (AAA), who will study Medicine at The University of Sunderland.  Ollie Davies (Triple Distinction) who has secured a prestigious apprenticeship.
5. Amelia Dodds (Triple Distinction), who will study Social Work at Northumbria University.  Ashleen Somal (Triple Distinction), who will begin Primary Education at Durham University

Head of School, Chris Coleman, said: “We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students and everything they have achieved. They have worked hard, shown real perseverance and determination, and today’s results reflect that. Results are about much more than grades. They create real opportunities and open doors to what comes next. Our students leave Conyers ready for their next destination, be that university, an apprenticeship or employment, and ready for the challenges and opportunities ahead. I would like to thank our staff, families and wider community for the support they have given our students throughout their time
with us. We wish all our leavers the very best in the adventure that lies ahead.”
