The new Department for Education Ministerial team will work together to unleash potential across the education sector.
As Secretary of State for Education, Gavin Williamson, will lead the drive to level up education for everyone across the country, whatever their background and wherever they’re from.
Minister of State for School Standards, Nick Gibb, has responsibility for standards, qualifications and the curriculum.
Minister of State for Universities, Michelle Donelan, will look at universities and Higher Education (HE) reform, including student finance, widening participation in HE and opportunity areas.
