GCSE results arrive at St. Bede’s
St. Bede’s Catholic School and Byron Sixth Form are incredibly proud of all of their GCSE students’ resilience and hard work leading to their outstanding achievements today.
Supported by their teachers, parents and carers our learners have shown academic ambition and have taken every opportunity to develop their wider talents.
Highlights
- Special mention to Ben Davison who has achieved five grade 9s and 5 grade 8’s. He is returning to St. Bede’s to study A levels in Maths, Computer Science and Physics. His ambition is to be a data analyst.
- Jackson Tilley achieved six grade 9s, three grade 8s and one grade 7. He is returning to study A levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology. The global pandemic has inspired him to pursue a career in medicine.
- Oliver Tudball has achieved seven grade 9s, one grade 8s and one grade 7’s.
- Hugo Marshall has achieved two grade 9’s, six grade 8’s, one grade 7 and one grade 6.
- Patrick Gilling achieved six grade 9s, two 8s, one grade 7 and one grade 6. He is returning to St. Bede’s Catholic School and Byron College to study Maths, Physics and Maths A levels.
- Sophie Jubb has achieved two grade 9’s, three grade 8’s and four grade 7’s.
The large majority of pupils will be moving back into Byron Sixth Form. St Bede’s are exceptionally proud of their committed, hardworking and resilient students. Students have adapted to challenging and difficult circumstances during these unprecedented times. Their resourcefulness and adaptability will empower them further in the rest of their educational pathway.
