Excellent Results Open Doors for Trinity Sixth Form Students
Trinity Sixth Form in Middlesbrough is celebrating another strong set of results, continuing a clear upward trend, with average points per entry increasing for the third consecutive year.
STEM subjects performed particularly well, with students achieving a 96% pass rate across Biology, Chemistry, Engineering and Physics. Engineering students secured an average grade of Distinction, while A Level Mathematics outcomes improved by a full grade on average. Students also achieved the highest possible A* grades in Biology and Chemistry.
Strong results were recorded across the wider curriculum, with average B grades in A Level Religious Studies and English Language and Literature. BTEC Sport students achieved on average a Distinction, while Extended Project Qualification results ranged from B to A*.
Michael Blair, head of school at Trinity Catholic College, praised the dedication and hard work of students and staff.
Head of sixth form Phillip Scarr added: “We are delighted with the achievements of our young people. These qualifications provide a springboard to higher education, further training, apprenticeships or employment, giving every student a clear path to a positive future.”

ISAAC CELEBRATES A LEVEL SUCCESS AND A FUTURE IN MEDICINE
Trinity Sixth Form student Isaac Diallo has plenty to celebrate after achieving an exceptional set of A Level results.
Isaac secured A* grades in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, marking the culmination of two years of hard work and dedication. He is now set to take the next step in his education, with plans to study Medicine at the University of Manchester.
His success extended beyond his A Levels, with Isaac also achieving an A* in his Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). His project saw him produce an outstanding thesis exploring Charles Bonnet syndrome, demonstrating his passion for science and medicine.
After excelling at Trinity Catholic College, Isaac chose to continue his education at T6 Sixth Form, where he has also made a significant contribution to sixth form life. His leadership qualities were recognised when he was elected head student.
Isaac said: “Thank you so much to my teachers for supporting and guiding me along the way. I am excited about beginning my studies in medicine. Thank you to the T6 team.”
His outstanding results provide a fitting end to his time at Trinity and an exciting start to the next chapter of his education.
