Berwick Middle School Go the Extra Mile with Sport Relief Challenge

The pupils from Berwick Middle School have taken part in a pedometer challenge as a part of their Sport Relief Fundraising campaign from Monday 9th till Thursday 13th March.

There was a bit of friendly competition for the students with their steps and distance travelled was recorded then each year group had their progress totalled. Year 7 were the year group who came out victorious travelling a huge 396.17 miles with Year 8 coming second with 395.95 mile then Years 5 and 6 coming fourth and fifth respectively covering 303.18 and 212.51 miles. 

The individual winner was Leighton who walked 16.84 miles.

It was calculated that the school as a whole had walked 1300 miles over four days. Good job Berwick Middle School!
