PE and School Sport Service
As a team Physical Educational and School Sport specialists, we have a wealth of experience, knowledge and a passion for what we do. Through a range of services and programmes, we work collaboratively with schools to promote and support the development of high quality PE, school sport, competition and physical activity in order to create a positive impact on the lives of our young people.
We aim to provide an offer that all schools can access which enables a coordinated provision of activities.
Our Services and Programmes
We offer a range of programmes and services designed to support schools to:
- Develop and deliver a progressive PE, School Sport and Physical Activity offer that will transform provision and impact on Pupil Achievement
- Meet and satisfy PE and Sport Premium Funding Requirements agsints the 5 key indicators as stipulated by the DfE
Areas include:
Core PE and Sport Premium offer
- PE Planning and Support
- Leadership Programmes (Playground Leaders, Sports Leaders)
- Staff CPD provision designed to build knowledge, motivate staff, develop teaching techniques and embed practice including ECT focused PE CPD
- Assessment
- Competitions & Festivals
- PE Support - working alongside teachers to upskill
PE Advisory Service
A bespoke and support programme development, taking into consideration the context and needs of each school. Working collaboratively to:
- Develop and embed the leadership and management of Physical Education
- Build capacity in relationto Whole School Improvement
- Support a culture of continuous improvement
- Quality Assure the provision of PE and School Sport
- Establish teaching and learning for the long-term
