Nudge Education Limited

We design and deliver individualised programmes of learning for students who are temporarily or permanently disengaged from school, with SEND or SEMH needs, refusing to attend or not in education, employment or training (NEET) for any reason at all. Our tailored programmes strive to overcome any barrier to learning whether social, emotional, behavioural or otherwise. We work with students of all ages and at any point during the academic year - usually 1:1, sometimes in small groups. We assess their academic levels, baseline their cognitive and emotional capacity and we learn from them. We take time to understand their story and work closely with their families, care teams and schools to see that they transition to a place of stability, whatever that may mean for them.

Based in the vibrant city of Newcastle Upon Tyne but extending our reach nationally, we are passionate about supporting local authorities, CCG's and schools in working with challenging students to prevent and de-escalate a crisis within a child's education. We believe that life is worth living and living well. Each child we work with has a unique reason behind their disengagement yet they all share one thing in common: the right to education and to finding their path in life. We believe inclusion, not exclusion is the answer.
