NYES Connect offers short, free sessions designed to provide practical insights and clear guidance on key topics affecting schools across North Yorkshire and beyond.
The webinar will cover essential requirements around food allergen awareness, safe food provision, and the management of anaphylaxis, alongside wider responsibilities linked to safeguarding, staff awareness, and compliance. It will also outline the training schools need to have in place to ensure staff are equipped to respond effectively and consistently.
The session will support schools in understanding their responsibilities, where accountability sits, and how existing policies, procedures, and day-to-day practice may need to be reviewed or strengthened. A strong focus will be placed on appropriate staff training, recognising and responding to allergic reactions, and ensuring a whole-school approach to keeping pupils safe.
