University access, choices and outcomes for high achieving children from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds
This report analyses the higher education pathways of young people in England who were high academic achievers at the end of primary school but from disadvantaged socioeconomic
backgrounds. The aim is to understand where and why early academic potential is not fully converted into later educational success, and what this implies for social mobility policy.
