Justine Greening headlining this year’s SCHOOLS NorthEast Summit

Justine_Greening_June_2015SCHOOLS NorthEast is delighted to confirm that the Rt Hon Justine Greening MP, Secretary of State for Education, will be giving the keynote speech at Summit 2016.

The main speaker had been initially confirmed as Education Secretary Nicky Morgan back in February this year. Following new government appointments, Mrs Greening has confirmed she will retain the commitment made by her predecessor and attend the SCHOOLS NorthEast Summit.

Mike Parker, Director of SCHOOLS NorthEast, said: “The Summit will be one of, if not the first high profile speaking engagements for the Education Secretary post the party conferences. School leaders in the region will be hearing the very latest on the Government’s future direction for education at this flagship event.”

The SoS for Education is one of the many high-calibre speakers at the region’s largest gathering of Head Teachers.

Sir David Carter, National Schools Commissioner
Masha Gordon, Founder of GRIT & ROCK
