North East nursery named school of the year at 2016 TES Awards

Boldon Outdoor Nursery School in South Tyneside received the coveted school of the year prize at the annual TES School Awards this year.

The TES reports that the judges were “unanimous in their decision”, recognising it offers a range of outdoors activities intended to develop the whole child. The nursery provides 80% of its education outdoors and was also named the “Early Years Setting of the Year”.

Bright Stars Nursery in Sunderland was one of the winners of this year’s TES Awards, being named as the “Healthy School of the Year”.

Congratulations to both for the much deserved recognition!
