CALL FOR EVIDENCE: Primary assessment

cropped-sne-logo-under-8k.jpgLast month, SCHOOLS NorthEast submitted evidence to the Education Select Committee inquiry into the work of Ofqual, after collating the submissions received from head teachers of secondary schools in the region regarding concerns of volatility in exam assessment. You can read the full document here.

This work prompted a request for help from some primary school heads in the network, who raised issues with KS2 outcomes.

SCHOOLS NorthEast would like to hear from any primary schools in the region with issues that we can take to the Standards & Testing Agency. We ask schools to come forward with any stories – negative and positive, about their experience of SAT exam papers,  marking process and grades, as well as proposed solutions.

Please email SCHOOLS NorthEast Director Mike Parker to submit evidence.
