“I have used First Class Supply and Training for 8 years and do not use any other supply company. The staff, led by Lesley Robinson, are efficient, effective, communicative, sympathetic and supportive to any requests. The teachers and teaching assistants sent to Ponteland Middle are of an extremely high standard, with a wide range of experience and expertise which is useful to us. They reflect the ethos of First Class, are punctual, enthusiastic and integrate quickly within my staff team.
At times we have needed long term cover and Lesley and the team work hard to meet our needs and always comply with current legislation. Supply staff arrive with knowledge of up to date requirements, procedures and policies. The NQT and ‘return to teaching’ staff have an excellent induction programme at First Class Supply and Training and so are able to adapt easily to our environment. At times NQTs take teaching assistant jobs to gain experience in schools and we have been able to support them ‘in the spirit’ of supporting children, covering lessons and taking booster sessions in preparation for KS2 SATs – all with great results!!!
