As the UK’s central bank, the Bank of England is committed to providing schools with support in teaching financial education to help students develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to manage money both now and in the future.
We have developed a range of free teaching and homeschooling resources for young people aged 5-16 to introduce key economics ideas, the work of the Bank of England and support the development of financial literacy. The resources cover a range of curriculum subjects including English, History and Maths.
In addition, all state secondary schools across the UK can request a presentation from Our Bank Ambassadors who will speak to your young people about the work of the Bank of England, their own careers journey as well as share their expertise on the economy and payment technology.
