The new academic year is underway, and the Premier League season is back too. This year, we’re bringing the two together with the launch of the Schools North East Fantasy Premier League Mini-League.
It’s an exciting new way for colleagues across the Schools North East network to stay connected, enjoy some friendly competition and have a bit of fun along the way.

Not set up yet? There’s still plenty of time to get involved. With only two of 38 gameweeks played, the season is just getting started. It’s still anybody’s game! Register on the website, pick your team and then join the SNE league.
We’ve also created a poster you can print and put up in your staff room. Please share it with colleagues and encourage them to join too. The more people from across the network involved, the better the competition will be.
A new way to connect across the network
The idea for a SNE Fantasy Premier League has come up in conversations with colleagues across the region, so we decided it was time to make it happen.
Our network brings together people working across all 1,150 schools in the region, and we’re always looking for different ways to strengthen those connections. As we head towards Schools North East’s 20th anniversary in 2027, we hope the league will give colleagues another way to get involved with the network and connect with like-minded colleagues from schools and trusts across the region.
Whether you’re an experienced FPL manager or have never picked a fantasy team before, you’re very welcome to join. You certainly don’t need to be a football expert. Just pick your team, join the league and see how you get on.
There will, of course, be bragging rights at stake.
