Brendan Tapping
Brendan is the CEO of Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust. A mixed MAT of 31 schools which covers the LA areas of South Tyneside, Sunderland and the East of Durham. Prior to this his role was as an Executive Headteacher of three large Secondary schools in the North East.
The schools and the Multi Academy Trust he is currently responsible for have always been a member of the Schools North East Community. Over the years staff from his Trust have attended conferences, been members of panels and delivered sessions. The importance of collective leadership and enabling the voice of the region to be heard are the fundamental reasons why they as an organisation will always try to respond positively when asked to contribute.
He is passionate about the region and looks forward to contributing to the impact that Schools North East can continue to have in shaping the opportunities for pupils in the region and beyond.
