Leading Through Change: The Schools’ White Paper in Practice
Prior Pursglove College
The Schools White Paper sets out a significant shift in how education will be structured, funded and held to account. For school and trust leaders, the questions it raises are urgent and practical: where will the pressure land, what does this mean for your school day-to-day, and what options do you have?
This roundtable brings together school and trust leaders from across the region for an honest, leader-to-leader conversation about navigating what comes next.
Chaired by Dr Nichole Munro, CEO of Atomix Educational Trust, the session will explore:
- What the White Paper means in practice — across accountability, SEND, standards and school finances
- How AI and digital tools can genuinely reduce workload and build capacity
- Collaboration as a realistic option — from shared CPD and informal partnerships through to more formal models — and what that spectrum actually looks like
The format is designed to be open and useful. Short provocations will frame structured table discussions, with space to explore where schools feel most stretched, what good collaboration could realistically look like, and which challenges are hardest to tackle alone.
This is not a recruitment session. It is a space for senior leaders to think together about a shared challenge.
