Jayne Franklin
Jayne is an experienced education leader and former Headteacher with over 20 years’ experience, including 13 years leading the Children’s Hospital School at Great Ormond Street and University College Hospital. She now works as an independent consultant supporting SEND development, leadership across the system including work as a SEND Excellence Adviser with Camden Learning.
Jayne has led SEND peer reviews nationally and is particularly interested in innovative provision including using telepresence technology to help children with medical needs remain connected to their education.
She is Vice Chair of the National Association for Hospital Education (NAHE), a Governor at Swiss Cottage Special School and Development & Research Centre and Chair of Governors at Summerside Primary Academy.
