We work with education settings, parents and carers to improve knowledge and understanding of autism so that autistic young people can be nurtured, affirmed and thrive in their settings. We can provide CPD through whole school training or with particular staff who need more in depth support as they work with key individual students. We develop bespoke packages of support for school settings through discussion of the needs of the school and staff group, the following are exemplars of what we can provide. We can contribute to learning walks to identify themes and development opportunities across settings, observations of individual students or cohorts to provide advice and strategies, modelling strategies and adaptations in classroom situations, drop in sessions for staff Q&A, half termly SENCO support for target review and writing, direct work with individuals and groups of students.
Our founder is a qualified teacher and has over 20 years experience as a teacher across the north east and overseas in mainstream, specialist, additionally resourced bases.
