Impact Family Services is charity that aims to breakthe cycle of domestic abuse. We’re dedicated to helping survivors and families in the North East heal, grow, and rebuild their lives and for nearly 30 years, we’ve been a lifeline for those impacted by domestic abuse, creating safe spaces for recovery and empowerment.

Our Young Person’s Independent Domestic Abuse Advisor supports young people by offering both emotional and practical help. Whether struggling with personal issues, friendships, relationships, or big decisions, we’re here to listen, guide them, and stand by their side. We do this through one-to-one support, fun and friendly workshops on topics such as Health Relationships and Life Skills and activities that build confidence, boost social skills, and help them make new friends.

Through our workplace DA Champions training, we help equip staff with the tools, knowledge and understanding to ensure your workplace is a safe and supportive environment for colleagues who are experiencing domestic abuse, as well as upskilling staff to recognise and support chidlren adn youn gpoeple who are living with abuse at home or in their intitmate relationships.
