Listening to, and learning from, young people in the attendance crisis
Building on a 2023 study with parents, this new research listens directly to pupils. Through focus groups with 60 Year 10 pupils in schools across England, Public First and Impetus explored how young people think about school and the factors shaping their decisions to attend.
