The Opportunity Index
The Sutton Trust’s Opportunity Index examines how socioeconomic background, geography and opportunity interact. The index ranks constituencies in England by the school attainment, access to higher education, employment status and earnings of young people eligible for free school meals (FSM) at secondary school.
