High impact mental health and wellbeing education for primary schools & specialist settings!
MELVA is an award-winning, creative, digital media programme from creative learning company Mortal Fools, improving children and young people’s knowledge and understanding of mental health and wellbeing whilst teaching practical self management techniques.
If your primary school or specialist setting falls within these local authority areas, you could be entitled to a FREE MELVA licence thanks to funding from North East Combined Authority and business sponsorship to schools in the following locations for MELVA for academic year 25/26. Schools are invited to submit a simple EOI to register their interest.
MELVA is a user-friendly, early intervention and prevention approach designed to be used in schools and is currently supporting just over 10,000 children.
We have funding in place to offer MELVA for free to schools in the following areas:
Co. Durham
Gateshead
Middlesbrough
Newcastle
North Tyneside
Northumberland
South Tyneside
Stockton
Sunderland
Schools are invited to submit a simple EOI to register their interest.
We are also actively looking for funding/sponsorship to enable schools from Darlington, Redcar & Cleveland, Cumbria and North West areas to also access MELVA. Schools in those areas are also encouraged to submit an EOI.
