The education sector is facing significant challenges, from retention and recruitment issues to poor staff wellbeing and high levels of stress. However, there are aspects within our control that we can address, creating a positive cultural shift in our schools and colleges.
By prioritising staff wellbeing, and addressing stress and workload, we can create an environment where educators feel valued and empowered. Addressing issues such as understanding how to support individual wellbeing by managing workloads and fostering autonomy, alongside celebrating the vital role of educators, can reinvigorate the profession, retain the workforce and attract passionate individuals to join. And of course – when staff thrive, our children and young people will thrive.
Together, we have the power to shape a sustainable, thriving future for education.
Join our panel of wellbeing experts from Still Human, all with a wealth of experience in education, to explore:
- Why staff wellbeing matters
- Rethink workload
- Managing stress
- Includes a 15-minute Q&A panel discussion
