The Duty to Prevent Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
Online
Join us for our Duty to Prevent Sexual Harassment in the Workplace webinar on Tuesday 5 November 2024 between 2pm and 3pm.
The new mandatory legal duty to take “reasonable steps” to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace, introduced on the 26th October 2024. The preventative duty will require all employers to actively prevent sexual harassment, including by third parties, in the workplace. Graham Vials, Partner and Head of Education law at Ward Hadaway, will take you through your legal obligations, the EHCR guidance and consequences of non-compliance. He will also share best practice thoughts around risk assessments, training, complaint channels and policy/contractual changes that you will need to consider.
