Hamish & Milo

Hamish & Milo Wellbeing Intervention Resources - Innovative emotional literacy resources for primary-aged children

Hamish & Milo resources provide the framework and opportunity for children to be able to explore situations and experiences and the complexity of feelings that impact emotional health.

Each pack includes all the resources mental health champions and pastoral staff need to deliver high-quality nurture and small group intervention from session plans and impact measure tools to sock puppet kits and wellbeing journals for the children.

The programme covers ten emotional themes: friendship, resilience, anxiety, diversity, strong emotions and anger, change and transition, conflict resolution, loss and bereavement, sadness and self-esteem and provides the language and content for courageous conversations about mental health and emotions.
