EAL Pedagogy - Decoding "Alien" Language

Learners who speak English as an additional Language have a dual task while learning: to learn English (language) and to learn through English. For this reason, EAL pedagogy aims to teach English using taught content as the context.?Specific teaching strategies and resources are therefore necessary to make the language of learning accessible to EAL Learners.

This session aims to give the knowledge of what it feels like to be an EAL learner and help you to think about how you can support the development of English skills.
