Newcastle United Foundation has a ten year track record engaging with schools throughout Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside and Northumberland. Last year alone we worked with 24,000 pupils across 200 schools through our education programmes.
Premier League Primary Stars is more than just football. We use the expertise of Newcastle United Foundation with the brand of Newcastle United and the power of football to bring the curriculum to life. Our qualified, skilled and experienced team can offer bespoke high quality PSHE, literacy and PE provision for your school.
Primary Stars helps pupils achieve their potential in a fun way and helps develop positive attitudes to learning.
Literacy curriculum - football themed lessons to develop language skills and increase confidence.
PHSE curriculum - Onside (develops knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity, discrimination and British values), Match Fit (focuses on healthy eating, the human body, food labelling and leading a healthy lifestyle.
PE curriculum - problem solving, fundamental movement and modified team games (fitness athletics, football, multi skills net and wall games)
Our professional staff hold relevant qualifications including: FA Level 2 Coaching Football, AfPE Level 3 Certificate in Supporting the Delivery of PE and School Sport or QTS status, First Aid and Safeguarding.
All staff are DBS checked and schools have the support of our dedicated safeguarding team.
Our provision also offers professional development and support for teachers and partners have access to exclusive Newcastle United rewards and incentives.
Newcastle United Foundation is offering a six week half or full day PSHE or literacy provision for Years 2-6 through Premier League Primary Stars.
