What were Broadwater looking for?

We had planned on moving our wraparound care in house for a few years, but a combination of COVID and the lack of a suitable software partner delayed the process.  As the school Business Manager, I could anticipate the volume of work that bringing the care in house would bring to my role – I needed a solution to outsource the booking, administration and (crucially) payment processing and reconciliation.  After a brief search, I found Childcare Bookings for Schools, and it has been a huge success.

How would you describe the process of working with CBfS, from first meeting to your club opening with the new system?

It’s been extremely smooth.  We started early enough to ensure the parents and staff had plenty of time to adjust.  Dan and his team gave us a huge amount of support – it really helps that they have run a large wraparound childcare company themselves.  Their experience in this field has meant they have shared lots of useful information on running our clubs too.

What was the experience like for parents and staff?

Parents:  All quiet on the western front!  There have been remarkably few queries from parents.  I attribute this to the clear communications, a simple to use booking and payment system, and the quality of the service.  Parents seem very satisfied – long may that continue!

Staff:  Training on use of the booking system was simple and easy to understand, we were finished in under an hour.  The system itself is intuitive, giving the staff confidence that their registers are correct, and children’s medical details and allergies are all recorded accurately.
