He has held non exec Director Positions working in co-operative organisations setup by local authortites, and via the Academy Ambassador network has been Chair, meneber and trustee of Wakefield City Academies Trust during the re-broker of its academies and solvent wind up of the trust.

He has a Doctor of Business Administration from Sheffield Hallam University, where his research looked at the impact of short termism on value creation in public sector contractimg.  He has a MBA from the University of Lancaster where his focus was on the use of performance measurement in effective operational delivery.

Nicki has been a governor for over 9 years and has governed in both primary and secondary schools, maintained schools and academies.  Nicki is currently chair of a large junior school in Gloucestershire.

Nicki is a committed and enthusiastic governance professional: she has provided consultancy support and training to govering boards and worked as Head of Governance for a large multi-academy trust.  Nicki is currently Governance Lead at Hub4Leaders and provides support to governors, trustees and clerks across the Country via on-line forums she has founded and local governance collaborations she has established as well as in her role as a Local Leader of Governance.

Louise became CEO of Governors for Schools in April 2017.  She brings a rich and diverse set of skills and experiences from more that 20 years in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.  Most recently, she was Business Development Director at the social enterprise London Early Years Foundation, where she grew their portfolio from 24 to 38 nurseries.

Her private sector experience was with LEK Consulting, a strategy consulting firm, and the retailer Tesco.  Louise is currently a governor ata primary school in north London.  She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MChem from Oxford University.

Liz Dawson is a leadership and wellbeing coach and lead coach/verifier of the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools, Schools Mental Health Awards.  A former secondary deputy headteacher, trainer, LA leadership consultant and SIP manager, Liz now supports leadership & wellbeing of leaders, including governors, through coaching and training and the mental health & wellbeing of staff and pupils in schools.  Weekly, she coaches, on average, in ten to fifteen schools.  Liz co-created The School Menatl Health Awards for schools, boarding schools and FE colleges.  She has been vice-chair of governors in a primary and a secondary school and is currently a governor os a boarding and day school.

Dale has worked in education for over 26 years and worked in our Health and Safety service since 2002, becoming its Head back in 2004.  He manages the our school's Health and Safety service and its six advisers which is provided to schools across the North of England.  

Dale is wee qualified and currently holds a NEBOSH certificate, NEBOSH Diploma 1 and NVQ in Occupational Safety and Health.  He's also an advanced fire risk assessor, advanced DSE assessor, and is on the Register of Playground Inspectors International.
